Steady, moderately challenging trail via Glencliff Trail. Nice views without having to drive too far into the National Forest.
This place has wicked good French fries. Get them with the fish and chips from the to go window and go eat on a nearby beach.
Very little parking, which keeps this a quieter beach. Perfect for a picnic dinner as the sun goes down, you can watch the surfers.
Great hut. You can refill your water bottles here, even if you aren't staying! Very busy in the summer.

Lovely views, easy hike if you go up via the Shannon Brook trail. Very difficult hike if you go up Bald Knob trail.

My favorite place to see live music. You can be so close, it sounds fantastic, the bar has a nice selection of local drafts.
