sree sreenivasanMayo 15, 2013My foodie friend Alfred dragged me here for the lamb burgers. Despite the high bar he set, I gotta say the burger met EVERY expectation. It was fabulous, with thick-cut fries, too.
The caramel popcorn and nut combo is expensive but it's also ridiculously delicious. Eat some with a cask beer--the house Spotted Pig ale or whatever else is on the beer engine. Mmmhhmm.

HolidayFebrero 29, 2016Definitely meat-centric sort of place. I indulged in a rich and succulent lamb burger. Spot was quieter than expected for a Sunday afternoon. Is it me or do they need to turn up the lighting?

Great for big groups, but my favorite is to sit at the bar solo, order the scotch egg, a drink, and the lamb burger.

the best seats in the place: at the upstairs bar (much less crowded). if you're feeling light, small plates: pork scratchings, scotch egg, etc. if you're hungry: lamb burger, pork belly, etc.

You can special request the fried chicken feast ahead of time. Do it. Best decision of your life.

What you're going to do is get here early as the wait can be long. Then, you sit down and look at the menu. Order some drinks, hear the specials, discuss the menu. THEN ORDER THE LAMB BURGER.
