If you enter on the side where the bus stop is, for soldier field - make sure you go out the front side with the big field musuem sign. Great photo opportunities there of the city!

Gigantic museum of natural history and anthropology. Could and should easily spend a full day. Annoying that they make you pay extra for some exhibits, but well worth it.

Such a great museum! Get the membership and split up your visit over a couple of days. There is so much to see, you'll be exhausted if you try to take it all in, in one day!

This is the second best museum of natural history in the U.S. The best attraction is the T-Rex Sue. If you're here make sure you visit the aquarium next door.

The best taxidermy exhibit ever, which is not something I say a lot! Also, the "Machine Inside" exhibit was very cool!

One of the most comprehensive and entertaining museums in the world. Exhibit of the terracotta warriors of especially good.

Probably one of the best museum experiences I have ever had. Between the Africa exhibit, the mammals of Asia, evolution of life & the remains of Sue: a truly unforgettable experience. A++.

Leave yourself plenty of time to go here because there is so much cool stuff. Don't miss the evolution exhibit, the dinosaurs were so interesting. And thr giant sloth!

The architecture of the great hall is stunning by itself, but the rest of the museum easily deserves a visit at least once. The special exhibits can be hit or miss.

If you are here for Fare Thee Well, you must go see Everything is Dead. Plus, this is about the best museum you could ever visit. Worth every penny.

Fun for all!! Save your money by get a package deal and to avoid being in a line. Make sure you're in your comfortable shoes because to get the best out of this place, you'll walk a lot!

Make sure you come here with a desire to learn and tons of time! Wicked cool exhibits. Very interactive and well done. Egyptian exhibit was hands down my favorite.

The museum was incorporated in 1893 as the Columbian Museum of Chicago, but the name was changed in 1905 to Field Museum of Natural History to better reflect its focus on the natural sciences.

This is an exhibit that changes every few months and make history a lot more fun for individuals to learn. This is a place where the brain gets to learn new facts.

You need a few days to get though this fantastic natural history museum. The Hall of Gems and the History of Earth are amazing.

it will be great if u like history , and looking at dead stuff. there's a basic , discovery and all access pass. I took the basic and it took me more than 3 hours to view everything!

All of the exhibits here are amazing. Definitely check out the special exhibits, they are always worth the time.

Here, you'll meet Sue, the best-preserved T-Rex specimen ever found! Other interesting stuff here are: a wide taxidermy collection, Egyptian artifacts, and a monograph series (Fieldiana).

The bioluminescence special exhibition going on right now is well worth the additional cost. Probably the best exhibition I have seen in a long time.

Dinosaur exhibits are great; but there is so much more. Make sure to check out there temporary traveling exhibits!

The ticketing process is not user friendly and the lack of a coat check for bags in summer is a mistake. The exhibits were pretty well done and I finally got to see the Tsalvo lions.

Great way to spend your afternoon. They have free wifi in the cafe and if your lucky you'll be able to snag a power outlet if you need to charge your cell

This place is well-loved for a reason. It has cool interactive iPads in the current special exhibits. Don't miss the climb down into a mummy's tomb, and travel through the Earth's Mass Extinctions!

The big draw here may be Sue (the world’s largest, most complete T. rex skeleton), but there are plenty of exhibits to geek out over, from the wonders of the 1893 World’s Fair to Egyptian mummies.

Free admission every day the month of January. Check out the dinosaur skeletons and ancient Egypt exhibit. Named after the famous Chicago businessman Marshall Field.

Dinosaurs, Mummies & Gems-OH MY! Another great museum offering here in Chicago for the entire family. After visiting, you'll be able to go on Jeopardy and say "Alex, I'll take history items for 800."

It's an amazing Natural History museum. If you're a reader be there by 9 am and stay all day. You can also shop the stores. They carry fair trade items.

Sometimes, the best part is hearing young children appreciate the artifacts. "I bet just that one earring costs like $100!!!" I love these little conversations.

Near the museum you can rent bikes for a good price. When I went there it was $7 and you could ride for 24h!

So many fascinating things to see at Field Museum. We're members now because many benefits like tickets to special exhibits, tote bag, etc. The bioluminescence special exhibit is enlightening.

Eh I guess I expected something different. My interests don't lie heavily in ancient American dishware & the yes-we-get-it ancient Egypt. Go to the Museum of Science & Industry instead. It's top-notch

Came here on a Saturday. Expect to wait in line 30-45 minutes. And, don't think you can see it all in an afternoon. This museum will take you a day to go through. But, it's worth it!

This place is amazing. Even the animal exhibits that are hundreds of years old. Plan on spending the day.

The museum is always eating exciting and interesting new exhibits. Permanent exhibits are also fun.
