Austin 360: With 8 miles of trail to run, hike or bike, the Barton Creek Greenbelt is not only scenic, but it also has some amazing views of the Hill Country landscape.
Austin 360: This park is tucked away off of Slaughter Lane and is an escape from the growing suburbs around it. It features 6 miles of trails, various fields and courts, a disc golf course and playground.
Austin 360: The Shoal Creek Greenbelt follows along North Lamar Boulevard and extends north to Pease Park. It’s about 5 miles long and close to civilization should you need a water or sports-drink boost.
Austin 360: Currently a three-mile trail, the Walnut Creek Trail should grow roughly another two miles as improvements continue. Some spots are a little rough, but it’s a nice reprieve from running on asphalt.
