Awesome Asian burger joint. The buns are light, soft and tasty. The fillings are varied and great quality. Good vegetarian options.
Excellent restaurant which is quite upmarket for Friedrichshain. The Sunday brunch is great, with food served in little jars. Dinner is the showstopper though. Good Vegetarian options too.
Yeah, it's an ugly square but you can get everything here. Great food hall at the Galleria Kaufhof. Also you can get good Currywurst in the station.

Hip hotel in Friedrichshain. Friendly, helpful staff. A cozy reception area / bar, and a good restaurant that's popular with the locals. Check out the whale noises in the bathrooms!
It's not going to be your greatest Nando's experience I'm afraid. Personally have not had a good breakfast there. Stick to the usual chicken & chips and you'll be fine.
Tipped as the best burger in Berlin but I'm not so sure. The buns are a little dry, but generally it's really good quality. Fries were tasty too.
Nice place for a cheap and filling lunch. Falafel and halloumi is delicious. They also have a branch in Friedrichshain.
Great food. They even serve vegetarian schnitzel! Try it with fries and garlic mayo.
