My favorite sushi spot in Lakeview. Highly recommend the Crunchy Spicy Tuna and Beauty & The Beast rolls. Staff is great. Also it's BYOB with no cork fee!
So delicious. Didn’t realize I had been eating meh sushi all over Chicago - everything from the edamame to the sushi tastes so FRESH.
Lu SimmonettiAbril 26, 2013Sashimi slices are too big. The flavors would be enhanced if the pieces were cut smaller. Good food, nice atmosphere! Try the sake tori skewer. Be aware of BYOB.
Ukai is my favorite sushi place to go to in Chicago. The quality of sushi is one of the best in Chicago.

Try the sample menu while it last! You won't be disappointed. If not - get the Spicy Tuna roll.- Best miso soup ever! Strong flavor + edamame + foam on top
