Pretty good rendition of a 'zang'-traditional rice dumpling ($3.6). The rice texture is nice and chewy with the salted egg adding to the fragrance. But the meat a bit too chunky and overly seasoned.

Set meal comes with half a tao gua, half an egg and some ground nuts. At the cost of lesser meat. Gives a better variety to the standard food. Makes sense to "Add Meat". Dont forget the chilli!
Chai tao kway: a mixture of shredded white radish (daikon)& rice flour is stir-fried with egg, garlic & green onions. Comes white or black -black version is darker because it includes sweet soy sauce.

I LOVE their springy wanton mee and honey char siew, and a plate only costs $3!! Beware: You may need to queue for at least 20 mins, though I'd say it's worth it!

The chicken is really tender and not overcooked. Pairing with the porridge than your traditional rice is a first and complements it very well.
Reasonably price Bak Ku Teh . Good Tau ki and preserve vege . Very peppery soup which I like and free topping up too . They use good dark soy sauce too .

Come with the full gang otherwise have to wait outside or be given the exact number for those present. The quality is also consistent and kids get their own plate with rice cucumbers and ikan bilis.👍
