Old classic hotel in Boston. Great location! T subway is just across the street and the bus from airport $5 per person drops off right out front of hotel. Concierge is top notch! Upgrade to gold!
I would definitely recommend this place, everything was good from the front desk to the rooms and the service too. I just felt really secure in this place.

The Oak abar is closed until summer 2012. The St. James room will have to do. Their menu is lite but tasty. Help me pester the chef to get all ingredients for the oysters rockefeller...I miss them!

This hotel was built in 1912 on the site of the old Museum of Fine Arts building (1876), which was torn down in 1909. When it opened, rooms had been booked as early as 16 months in advance.
One of the waiters asked us not to sit at a table because the people sitting on the next table “didn’t wanna be disturbed”! We went there for lunch, and it was nothing special for the price.
I don't know about this place. Expensive, but I've stayed in cheaper restaurants that provided better quality. Rooms on the lower levels are very noisy, traffic-wise. Heavenly shower though.
