GREAT alternative to the always packed LES and West Village ones. My new go-to for haircuts and beard trims. As a bonus I love avoiding the Brit diva you have to pass to get to the LES barbershop.
Andersen was my cosmetologist for the day and the treatment was quite good . Unique environment , you can also grab a coffee from the coffee soy next door.
Go to place for looking like a gentlemen rogue. I usually stick with Richie. Make a reservation online as you're leaving the crib and they'll be ready for you when you arrive. Has an espresso bar-woot
I'm 100% indoctrinated into a ritual of hair/beard trims here. Eileen is my go-to but Scottish Chris is also great. The eucalyptus face towel is just the cherry on your sundae of awesomeness.
Much less crowded than its LES counterpart, but you should still expect a small wait. Come by Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and ask for Chris. Great cut, great conversation
Straight edge & cut: $75; cut alone: $40. Cutters have skills and no time/dough spent on shampoo - true "men's cut", fellas. No Pauly D styles in here.
There is simply no justification for a mens haircut to cost $45 - I can go short distance to Manhattan and pay $12 for just as good a job - total fail and waste of my time👎
