Kemuri Japanese Baru

On the border between fusion and an actual izakaya their focus on smoke gives a different angle on Japanese food. Very excellent.

Lots of promise to this place. Chicken karage is some of the crispest I've tried. Several good beers on tap including standard Japanese ones. Good whisky and sake selection too.

Everything is an adventure and super good. The imagine sliders were a particular standout for me. Pickled vegetables and leave room for dessert!

Had the spicy oxtail udon for lunch, a very satisfying bowl of soup. Will be back for dinner!

Sashimi special was incredible. The chicken karaage was crispy on the outside and juicy tender on the inside. The sauce was interesting. The pork kakuni were beautiful!

Everything we had was so good - pickled veggies, ceviche, garlic pizza, tofu steak. Have delicious cocktails and sake flights too!

EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS! Oxtail udon cannot be missed. Great selection of Japanese craft beers and whiskeys too!

The Kemuri Garlic Pizza is a cheesy, garlic heaven on a fried wonton wrapper, mmm!

Sausages don't taste homemade but they are tasty. Avoid the deep fried root appetizer. The pizza app is good but how could melted cheese on a deep fried base not be :) Ramen is ok.

Can’t go wrong with the Yaki Oni-Benedict, Miso Aged Washu-Gyu, or even the deviled eggs.

The smoked albacore is deliciously umami and smoky - highly recommended!

The spicy oxtail udon is the bomb.com.

Ox-Tail Udon & Ceviche

The food was below average. Extremely over priced. Most importantly, it wasn't clean enough. The chair had food spilled on it and the bowls were oily. I wouldn't come back here.
