This is a proper pub, open fires, small and friendly. Great real aleson tap, try the Uley Pig's Ear. Also the food is *really* good - not just nice, fantastic.
One of the most unique pubs in Britain. As featured in Cider With Rosie, it remains completely unchanged. But the pear cider is totally undrinkable- I think it's the same barrel as Laurie Lee drank
@Neil C: Nothing can be 'one of the most unique'. It's either unique or it isn't.The Woolpack is far from 'completely unchanged'. It's been extensively altered but often so subtly you don't notice.
