$5 deli sandwiches on Thursdays -- get here early or prepare to wait! Also, many of the sausages in the meat case are made on-site. I highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken sausages -- delish!
Good produce section - most everything is good and lasts until you eat it. (I.e. you will eat what you pay for). Be careful with other items - some can be pricey. (Still miss New-Pi / Wheatsfield)
WFM may be a corp, but each store is community oriented. All donations go to local charities and carries items from 31 Iowa vendors and counting. Lauren, proud member of WFM WDM Customer Service team.
This is the first Whole Foods in the state of Iowa. Although a little pricier than most grocery stores, the quality, and the selection of the food, is worth the extra cash!
There is every other variety of Clif bars here EXCEPT CoconutChocolate Chip, the one I like best...what gives? Also, no fresh seafood or espresso bar...additional points lost...
If you bring your own bag they take $.10 off your order...and if your in the giving mood you can tell them to donate it and a charity will reap the benefits :)
I love venturing over to Whole Foods, but I always leave there feeling kind of "meh"... I think it's the employees at the registers...? Plus it's always a zoo in there no matter what time of day!
Extremely busy on the weekends, but their prices are just okay. Some things are cheaper than other places. Since it is organic those things may be a bit pricer. But the veggies look amazing!!
