- Free wifi has always been the norm at airports. However YVR had it early. If your airport durst have free wifi. Speak up.

- US flight after 8:30pm? You depart out of the International Terminal and will go through customs upon arrival in the US.
- If you plan to pack a bottle of wine in your check in bag, make sure it's in a sealed bag and wrapped with layers of towel!
- Passbook is the way to go for e-boarding paases. Going green is super easy!

- Natalie VEnero 30, 2017Easy to get to via sky train from downtown, which is nice. Security was slow though and computer system for delta was down.
- Never arrive YVR at noon-1pm. Its like 15 flights landing at almost the same time. Lining up for immigration is like lining up for Space Mountain in Disneyland. 90 minutes at best #worstlineever

- best airport on the continent by far.. EXCEPT worst baggage handlers perhaps in the world. average wait for luggage is 30+ minutes. i imagine the baggage handlers strive for YVR to fail. seems so.

- The Canada Line train goes downtown and runs every few minutes. Walking distance from most major hotels downtown.

- RachelAgosto 12, 2013From Canada to America - have your border security info all ready as you go through US Customs before getting on the plane!
- Always remember to remove your belt when going through security. It's the one thing I forget and get dinged on.
- Departing the YVR to take the Millennium Line will cost you 9$ a ticket. They don't care for bus passes or polite Canadians. Bring a fare save ticket.
- If you don't have your luggage beside you and sleep, security will wake you and think you are homeless.... Mine was stuck between international and domestic waiting for it to open at 6am.
- When you get the "pat down" at security ask them if it was good for them too! (Smile when you say it)
- If they give you one of these stickers on your boarding pass you can use the Nexus line at security even if you don't have a Nexus card
