Great covered outdoor seating area feels like a little secret garden off of the busy street.
Great cream based flavors--try muffin, Roche, dark chocolate with berries. Fruit flavors taste a bit gummy in my opinion. Banana spilt!
This is such a fantastic cinema--would be the envy of even NYC or LA: red plush seats, old wrap around balcony. No popcorn-throwing loud teens here, perfect for cinephiles.

This Slovenian small chain turns out decent, very cheap Balkan food. If you're a cevapi veteran it won't blow your mind, but if you're a newbie give it a try, it's reliable and nice.
The biggest and best concert/cultural hall in Slovenia. Check the website for listings--everything from concerts, dance, opera, wine tastings, films. I love the 70s decor!
Despite its rather gaudy appearance, it serves fantastic gelato at normal prices. Pistachio is superb packed with flavor and foir di latte clean and creamy. The sauce is a nice touch but not a must.

Um, kranjska klobasa, hello! So simple, so delicious. They take the prefect Arvaj sausage and don't screw it up. I wish more places in Ljubljana had that kind of philosophy!
Fun basement bar with friendly staff and a lot of beers (mostly bottles), a few good drafts. Prices are a touch over for Ljubljana and food is a stay away but it's still a good bet for a night out.
