So good to have a hmart in downtown Chicago, albeit it being much smaller than the Niles location. It is as good as it gets 😆
Food is decent. Michelin worthy? Not too sure about it. For what it’s worth, brunch is $37 pp so it’s not too bad. Wish the portion is smaller though.
Small place, 15mins wait for 2 on a Saturday noon time. Had the seared salmon sandwich, it was delicious! The potatoes that came with it was yummy too, albeit tad salty.
They moved a couple of blocks south on Mich Ave. View from the new spot is stunning though. And bigger store footprint.
Love the soy milk and fried dough fritter from one of the restaurants in the mall. Don’t remember the name thou.
Favorite dish: chocolate mousse. Cebiche was good as well. Braised lamb could be more melt in the mouth imo but the flavor is good.
More shops in this mall now compared to when it first opened. Has my 2 favorite brands as well - Zara and BR Factory. Need to try out the AMC theater sometime later.
It’s kinda out of the way, not close to Chinatown clusters. But I love all the food that I’ve tried. Lovely mousse drink, delicious popcorn chicken, yummy braised pork with ride. Will come back!

Pleasant surprise for a downtown restaurant. Love the ambience and interior decor. Tried the oysters- yum! And the shrimp with grits, also delicious!
Came here for CRW 2018. What a pleasant surprise! Salad was yum, risotto had a unique twist to it - pomegranate! Dessert is on the sweet end but it’s decent.
I’ve been here quite a few times. They offer cheese tea now, it’s delicious. They also have the bubble waffle! I was so excited. It’s a nice place to do shabu shabu.
Came here for restaurant week lunch course. It was well worth the $22 imo. Dessert is definitely the highlight. Great service as well. I would come back next year again for CRW 😁
Staff attitude is hit or miss. I do try to go there during not so busy hours though, else the wait is quite long.
Make sure you get the e-coupon, it makes admission fee $23-25 depending if you want to enter base rock room or not.
Like the tablet dining option at a lot of the gates.
If you’re doing a Sintra day trip, I would recommend Moorish castle and the Pena Palace. Can buy your tickets online in advance for a slight discount too. View from it is breathtaking.
It really looks like what it is on the photo. Gorgeous! We just hiked up the palace from the entrance instead of taking the 3€ transport bus. High cross is worth the hike. The view is phenomenal.
