Yohan Gabriel Liutama: Beautiful view. The lore says that when emperor Kameyama passes the bridge on a ship during full moon night, the moon looks like it’s crossing the bridge. Hence the name (moon-crossing bridge)
Yohan Gabriel Liutama: Quite a climb to get there, passing the bamboo garden and such. Pretty small temple. Along the way passing residential area which is very good walk.
Yohan Gabriel Liutama: The best Wagyu A5 restaurant for the price. Go for the 150g Wagyu A5 Sirloin, definitely worth the price. Better be early, have your name on the line. Waiting time nearing lunchtime is about an hour.
Yohan Gabriel Liutama: Wonderful temple which used to be the emperor’s palace. Beautiful view with the autumn leaves falling. Entrance for the garden and temple is ¥800 per person. Come early to avoid crowd.
Yohan Gabriel Liutama: Interesting, value for money hotel. Breakfast for only ¥1,000 yen. Pretty comfortable for a few nights and located strategically near Kyoto station.
Yohan Gabriel Liutama: Interesting bustling building with 2 department stores, many restaurants and a lot of shops. Currently has a large Christmas tree set up for the festive.
Yohan Gabriel Liutama: Very organized and well thought of airport. Not difficult to navigate, even if you do not speak Japanese. Service is pretty good, almost no waiting time for baggage claim.
Yohan Gabriel Liutama: Beautiful shrine lit up with a line of lanterns. Not as big as Kiyomizu-Dera temple, but has it’s charm. There are also hawkers at the entrance selling local delicacies!
Yohan Gabriel Liutama: It’s a market complex full of seafood produce, local Japanese snacks, souvenirs, soy donuts, and what not. Very very crowded. Go for the ones which the locals line up for!
Yohan Gabriel Liutama: Beautiful temple to be. Best to come early or you will have difficulty catching those wonderful photos. Only ¥400 per pax. Oh and get your hands on those mochies and matcha-chestnut ice creams!

Yohan Gabriel Liutama: There's an entrance to/from Mega Kuningan (right near the Chinese embassy), and another from Jl. Guru Mughni (entrance only). Convenient access!
Yohan Gabriel Liutama: Lovely coffee shop hiding at hardware shop! Coffee was fantastic, and they serve beer too. Had Japanese Curry Bowl and Ethiopian manual brew. Perfect lazy weekends!
