For quick access to the city, take the train from the airport. HAHA - just kidding!! Welcome to Houston.

TSA here is notoriously slow. People miss flights all the time. You can't get to this airport early enough!

Concourse C has the best options for meals and lots of shopping.
Watch out for the carts - more than any other airport in the US. I go to sleep hearing "excuse the cart please" after connecting here.

This airport has been particularly strict about taking your quart sized plastic bad out of your baggage. May as well do it in advance to save the time spent re-screening.

If leaving new Orleans drive here when it is less than the connection. You can go to Ikea and Costco on the way back!

Andrew HallAbril 5, 2013Compared with other airports in TX notably DFW, this place is outdated, with little waiting space at the gates. Some interesting food options though if you have enough time.
