Order a pickle! They are fantastic. Not to mention the smoked meat itself! And fries! All with a cherry soda. Delicious combination.

Comes with a layer of basil and garlic spread, good old-fashioned non-lethal tomatoes are added, plus chicken salad for good measure. Santropol is known for them. Check them out, worth the try!
One of the great place in Montreal. Usually lot of activities all year long (skating, Igloofest, fireworks, museums, beach, etc.). The bike path that follows Canal Lachine is also really great.
Fave bakery in town. Always fresh. Lovely staff. Faves: mushroom-shaped bun, almond croissant. Fig and cheese bread also decent... everything's good.
Amazing croissants: fresh hot and delicious. We loved their raisin, pistachio and plain croissants. Tell the the host its your first time and he'll serve whatever is hot off the oven.
Been here 3 times now, and would highly recommen it. Delicious and fresh food - feta lamb, grilled calamari and the orange salad are just a few of the dishes I would suggest. Reasonably priced.
I must reiterate, try the tuna and salmon bowl or seafood/sashimi bowl. Also try the mini skewers. There isn't much meat on them, but what's there is amazing.
Beautiful space, with a laid back atmosphere. Easy to get a seat. The breakfast eggs are delicious, although it surprised me they were cold. Make sure you try their homemade chocolate bars.
The classic poutine is one of my faves there, and the Machin sandwich has a nice unique flavour. Also, for desert, grab the Reine Elizabeth tart!
Great selection of tea (and coffee), lots of place to work and very laptop friendly.
