- Nicolette RomeroMayo 11, 2015Cool brasserie with a speakeasy vibe. The adobo de puerco is amazing. The worst waiter award goes to the guy with the umbrella tattoo. Totally brought down the experience.
- SkillshareSeptiembre 13, 2011For lunch on a nice day, sit outside on the corner and have an Aguacate con Queso torta (sandwich). Note: you canNOT order french fries to go (which is a bummer, since they're delicious!).
- Jenny JEnero 9, 2014For a calm dinner, use the red entrance around the corner (service there is way friendlier as well). Grilled corn on the cob is fab, but not on a first date ;)
- Andrea BarrezuetaSeptiembre 10, 2014If you are cool you'll be downstairs. Food is good but I rather go to a true Mexican stand. If you want to hang out, grab a drink, see and be seen, Mexican style.. This is your place.,
- AFAR MediaAgosto 12, 2014You can grab carnitas tacos and elote and then sit in the park and people watch those shopping through SoHo. Leer más
- Alex HunterFebrero 23, 2022Don’t expect to be able to hear the person next to you on a Friday or Saturday. That said, great food, drinks, and vibes for getting your night started.

- Lila TafAbril 9, 2017I had the vegetarian quesadilla and rice with pico de gallo and it was a dream. Amazing and cheap place for mexican.
- Annie HungAgosto 18, 2017Sat downstairs (finally got a res!). Food was good, but prices were exorbitant (~$6/taco!!). When paying $12 min for tacos (2 small ones), throw us a 3rd one. Will get them from upstairs next time.
- Michael MuseDiciembre 14, 2014Need reservations. Speakeasy entrance through the kitchen of a taco stand, it has a very cool/stylish vibe inside: romantic but not intimate. Tasty Mexicany-fusionish food.

- Vegetarians should get the vegan tacos (off the menu), yuka tostadas, grilled corn, and grilled string beans. The queso fundido and quesadilla are also really good.

- Julie SosciaAgosto 1, 2018Typical NYC experience - if not seated on the outdoor patio, make sure to grab a seat indoors (the entrance is down the stairs and through the kitchen).

- Amanda HoJunio 20, 2016Amazing coconut cocktail. Love everything about here except how they don't have regular guac...it's basically sliced avocado
- Ameer SalehEnero 9, 2015Tortilla soup and tinga de pollo were both delicious and warmed me up on this frigid NYC afternoon. Will definitely be back
- My fav restaurant in NYC. The counter for a quick bite, the cafe for a fun lunch, and the secret basement for a swanky dinner.
- Morgan NelsonAgosto 12, 2014Their platos are a fresher Verizon of a chipotle burrito bowl - and well worth walking the extra block got if you're in the area.
- Lori LuoAgosto 10, 2014Take a seat in the restaurant (with reservations, of course), and order the excellent elote, tacos, and queso fundido.

- Varun ShettyMayo 24, 2014The quesadilla is a nice little surprise. Also, if the weather is nice, eat outside on the benches across the street.
- Try all their tacos and get the horchata to drink. If you can, go downstairs to the secret lounge-- they have wonderful drinks and chill music.
- Lindsey KimOctubre 8, 2014Great place for New Yorkers to take their friends. Go downstairs and walk through the kitchen before being seated
- Excellent, greasy, late-night food. Get a quesadilla de huitlacoche. It sounds and looks dirty, but I promise its delicious. Scarf it down before you ask Google what the hell you just ate.
