Free WiFi? Nah, not in this Third World airport. CheapoAir means long Q's, few checkin staff and excess luggage charges.
Gatwick express is unreliable and the staff are homophobic - just heard a member of staff say "he runs like a poof"!

Massively improved security area at south terminal. Whizzed through in less than 5 mins.
Smokers should plan to get there at least 15 minutes earlier than others if they want that smoke between check-in and security. Annoyingly long conveyor belts to get through!
There are never buggies at the pick up points now.
£20 fine for assuming I could use my Oyster card to get here.
There are petrol stations near both terminals where you can wait when collecting someone. Saves on short-term parking fees!
Managed to get to airport gate without being asked for the passport once... I bet it will be now.

To London bridge: look the timetable. Sometimes the after is the faster and the better

emma bEnero 20, 2013Be prepared to wait up to an hour for immigration and if flying with Ba then only 45% of bags arrive within 55mins compared to 98% for emirates!ore waiting then!
Only 90 minutes of free wifi - use it wisely:-(

Don't take gatwick express, take first capital express to London bridge instead
Flight mode only needed if you are about to fly. No sh*t!
