- David DerrickMayo 29, 2014There is absolutely nothing to do in the international terminal. So...walk back outside to terminal 4...go to the lowest level...find The only 'nice' place to wait for a few hours...Starbucks!
- What an incredible shitstain this airport is. Useless shuttles (all are for parking and employees - so get ready to walk for 30 minutes to your terminal through clouds of exhaust, weed, and urine).
- Terminal 3 has a ‘Dog Relief’ area after security. It’s a good place to sit outside and catch some sun between flights.
- If you're in a rush, the extra $20 to upgrade to business on Southwest is waaaaay worth it. You get to cut the security line, board first & get a free cocktail!
- If you have a rental get to airport early to do curb side checkin , then go grab a bite to eat, tons of places on sepulveda, return the car and hop on shuttle. Food inside is expensive!
- Don't wear a belt, come barefoot and buy your clothes when you arrive at your final destination. Saves time during check in, boarding and debarking.
- Yasmin KhanAbril 1, 2011Get there early and be old enough to grab a drink before you fly. The staff is infuriating, especially in United Airlines. Be sure to watch when you're flight boards b/c they don't always announce.
- Charlie Atherley-WilsonMayo 26, 2013When picking up someone park in the Taco Bell parking lot until you get their call from Baggage claim to avoid have to circle around the airport!

http://www.lawa.org/laxdev/Newsletter.aspx. #futureoflax - For me there's no place like LAX. I'm pretty sure I have yet to see it all but it's very classy.

- Mariya YakovenkoAbril 26, 2016Everything is pretty much over priced and check in, security, and restaurant lines are very long. Ah, gotta love LA.
- If arriving/departing at peak times, consider pickup/dropoff at opposite level (arrivals vs departures). #travelhack
- Ivan SvetunkovJulio 1, 2018It's a poorly organised airport. It seems that people don't know anything about queuing theory and stochastic modelling. Otherwise, everything would be much more efficient.
- In terminal 2? Head upstairs to the Delta Club and there's some nice seating on the landing.
- yeah LAX sucks- If you aren't a platinum frequent flyer or in first or business class.... otherwise pretty, pretty nice!
- If you're picking someone up, park in the central lot rather than trying to fight the traffic. It doesn't cost much and will save you a huge headache.
- It never fails, it would seem Iron Man is in front of me at the security check point. Took this guy 6 time to make it through Dude, yes you have to take off your shoes. You don't know this by now.
- Magnus ModigAgosto 3, 2018USB power outlets next to chairs is so Liw powered that they dont charge at all, it just keep the phone at the same level.
- Heres a tip, dont be an asshole. Get your stuff off the belt and MOVE. Domt stand right in the way and put you belt an shoes back on. Thats what the benches are for!
- If you are flying out of the Delta Terminal, there may not be any restaurants near your gate.
- If you're based in LA and travel Internationally 2 or more times a year-- sign up for Global Entry and save HOuRS in immigration when you return to the US
www.globalentry.gov - Much better international terminals. Still partially unoccupied but LAX can finally call itself a World Class airport!
- Terminal 4 has scarce charging areas, one sit-down restaurant, overall, not the best terminal for a long layover. At least there is a Starbucks. I recommend getting a day pass to the Admiral's Club.
- Tom MAgosto 5, 2011Check out

- When someone next to you complains more than once about the security line, turn around and remind them that there are worse things in life. Like people who complain about trivial things
- Andrea AceyOctubre 27, 2011If you're flying out of terminal 4...get there early to grab the shuttle to your plane. The terminal is under construction and the shuttle will take you off site...don't miss it!
- Klatch Coffee in UAL terminal is CLUTCH with best espresso in any domestic airport. Great service too.
- Get here earlier than you think you need to. Never know how long TSA security will take. Sometimes, the line stretches all the way down the lobby from one end to the other.
- LAX needs grassy areas in each of the terminals! So many people travel with dogs with no place to let them pee!!!

- Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)Noviembre 4, 2014Starting from December 3, 2014, Air New Zealand will switch terminals to Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT), no longer operating from Terminal 2.
