Eric ODiciembre 23, 2015Named after Michael "Nuf Ced" McGreevy, the leader of the Royal Rooters - the Red Sox fan club in the 1910s. His Third Base Saloon was Boston's original sports bar - and is now McGreevy's!
Owned by one of the Dropkick Murphys, this is a "Grab a beer and watch the game" sort of place.

McGreevy's original "Third Base" saloon was located at 940 Columbus Ave, near the Roxbury Crossing T stop and close to the old Huntington Grounds, where the Boston Americans (now the Red Sox) played.
Always a fun time. Management is cool and bartenders make awesome drinks

Every Monday they have 10 cent wings. Surprisingly, they are plump and delicious too... Also have $3 tall PBRs and bud drafts
A Boylston staple, without a doubt. Always an interesting but fun crowd. Never disappoints except when they play Green Day back-to-back.
