We saw this spot on Mike Colameco's food show. The chicken shuwarma is amazing. Not the frozen loaf most places have. They make their own, from real chickens they marinate and spice, in house.
Both my mom and I have been coming here for years. Jimmy is one of the rare breed you can trust to be straight with you, not do unnecessary repairs, and knows quality work will keep you coming back.
After years of trying their sandwiches the Roast Pork Special is still my all-time favorite. On Fridays they make fried shrimp and both the Po'boy and Parmigian are excellent.
Good sides. Fresh made cole slaw. Great potato salad with just a touch of curry powder and red pepper. Good, cheesy mac & cheese. Their pecan pie is excellent and not too sweet.
You can bring your gluten-free friends here and not have to worry. They will take extra care to make sure they're ok. =)
