Andrew BetlyonMarzo 5, 2010Don't wait in the 7th ave taxi line. Go to the SE corner of 33rd, grab an incoming cab and avoid the wait.
This place is hell. At least they sell cheap beer.
If trying to save money don't go into TGI Fridays it's $25 just for an entree alone!

Don't ignore the homeless. And quiet down on the train.
Place is absolute chaos... everytime. Beware of the restrooms.
Just like Frogger, only NYC style: crack heads, lost tourists and drunk Rangers fans.
If this is not the VIP entrance to the fiery gates of hell, not sure it exists.
Late at night, this place is full of zombies.
Fred GeigerSeptiembre 15, 2013Don't walk without a purpose here! You will get trampled! On the train the 2 seaters are really one seat so don't try to sit 2.Also the 3 seats are really 2. It's bad form to try to sit in the middle

Andrea FaggianiOctubre 11, 2016I recommend go with extra time, the distances between platforms are great and it's a crowed place.
Avoid rush hour trains if at all possible
If you miss your train catch the next one.
I didn't think the double Decker trains could go into Penn Station. I guess I was wrong. We made it safely.
On some days it's a regular bum convention!!!
Lauren ZiemskiMarzo 27, 2010The smoothies at planet smoothies are intolerable. Real fruit doesn't taste this sweet, they must add a ton of sugar. Not even drinkable 3 sips in.
Avoid the NJ transit bathroom unless absolutely necessary. I saw a fight nearly break out in it today
Amanda LegeneAbril 28, 2012Here's a tip ... Never, under any circumstances, use the public toilets ... I assure you there are better places to dump nearby- Imagine what the old Penn Station was like. Now deal with the painful reality of poor urban renewal decisions of another generation.
