- If flying Southwest, get their app. You can check in & print boarding pass at no line kiosks.
- Paul BenenatiNoviembre 7, 2021Car rental is brutal. Slow super-crowded bus to far away rental center
- William JonesAbril 15, 2019Not having tied my shoes for 3 decades has made this security thing a breeze. And sweatpants too ? Easy livin. #weoutchea #takeoff #ilovemondays
- If in terminal C, eat at Jose Roux's! Must have the chx tacos...the homemade tortillas are yummy!
- Max ADiciembre 7, 2013Always opt out of the scanner. They have nice gentle hands here with a sensual touch. Private screening room has scented candles. I finish 3 out of 4 times.
- Going through TSA at terminal 2 may take quite a bit longer than you would expect. Plan accordingly.
- Not many power outlets. If you happen to find one, it's probably broken. Make sure all your gear is charged before arriving here. Free wifi is a plus. Safe travels!
- Go to BarFly. Ask for a seat with an outlet (there are 4 available!) for your laptoping needs.
- Come early and enjoy all the different shops and restaurants.
- Terminal 3 is a crap shoot. Sometimes there's no line through security and others it's wrapped around and around.
- Alison TanzerSeptiembre 7, 2012Tip for the day: do t post the same tip as someone else. Yes this airport has free wifi I get it!
- Maya AcostaMarzo 26, 2019The free internet is slow. Give it time to load the interstitial for Boingo.
- Camilla, an airport employee, obviously has too much time on her hands. She is the mayor of almost every gate. LOL. Pay me to do this!
- Ted HanSeptiembre 16, 2011I wonder why Southwest is a good company. They delayed again for two hours!! I have to transfer for the next international flight!
- Lewis HowesNoviembre 8, 2010If you are only passing through, make sure to take a moment to look at the mountains. Love the view here in Phoenix.
- Zane BurnettNoviembre 18, 2013No JetBlue curbside check in. Unless you're catching the last flight back to JFK, arrive early. No millimeter scanners and small terminals make for pretty backed up lines.
- Best food is by the D gates. Try the Asian restaurant, best I've found at an airport yet.
- Dave JefferyOctubre 19, 2015No TSA Pre-check here! Plan on taking your liquids and lap-top out at security!
- Its not even worth it to try the wi-fi...not even in the US Airways Club. Wish they'd make it better!!
- If you like delicious coffee, go to Cartel - terminal 4 by C11-C20 gates
- Terminal 4 is my favorite in the country! Free wifi, great shopping, pet friendly, and with a dog park!
- Huge airport but the shuttle busses add a lot of time to getting in and out.
- If you have a huge rack (D or DD), don't wear a bra. Going through TSA will be a breeze. It ALWAYS works for me!
- Regina BlauerMayo 29, 2013double check ur assigned gate. Had a good morning exercise from gate A to B when I realized the assigned gate has changed.
- Plan ahead to take all your clothes off. It makes the line go faster.
- If you're in town, be sure to go to the Hell city Tattoo Fest! Arizona's best tattoo convention!
- Matt ASeptiembre 16, 2011Passing on the good tip that guided me to Paradise Bakery for lunch... Good salads, soups and sandwiches!
- Keep your empty water bottle thru Security, and refill on other side! And keep drinking...
- Blanco burrito by gate A6 is pretty tasty and filling, even though it's expensive (to be expected at the airport) and the burritos are small.
- Russell PattersonEnero 10, 2014Food choices in terminal C and D absolutely suck! $13 for a burger or $18 for a grilled Chix salad! Cans feed a family of 5 for under $70!!!
- If you're catching a late flight eat before you arrive. Everything closes early. Plan to buy water from one of the vending machines which are card only, no cash (terminal 3 anyway)
- KinaOctubre 5, 2011If coming in from Cabo, be sure to bring small bottles of booze for when you're stuck on delays on the tarmack during lightening storms.
- Narisara VMarzo 2, 2012Fast wi-fi! Now they have tables to plug in whatever needs charging, just don't board n leave ur device!
- Kenitha PettwayFebrero 27, 2012Security check lines are very long and the airport is huge. So don't be late getting here. Give yourself about an hour and a half.
- Make sure to stop by the rapid rewards visa booth to get your next southwest flight free. A $420 free flight which is 25000 rapid rewards points!
- Bishop CraigMayo 8, 2013not many food options on the A concourse, and most of them close at 8pm. Are you serious? With ten pounds of travellers in a five pound bag, it's hard to get food even with a hour layover. C'mon, man!
- Carol DuffyJulio 16, 2012Homes for sale or rent in the Greater Phoenix area. Call Carol Duffy your experienced professional Realtor with Homesmart. 480-797-7732.
- There are more strange-looking (and acting) people here than any other airport I've been to
- Shoes and belts off, laptop out BEFORE you reach the security conveyer belt. You're already waiting in line, just do it already!
- It's very long and very flat. You should probably stay in your seat while on the runway.
