- I'm glad I live close enough to make Reagan National my home airport! If you have a chance, go to Gravely Point and stand just beneath the flight paterrn where the planes take off and land-very cool!
- If you call it "national" to a cabbie, good luck getting to the airport without a confusing conversation. Quit pretending to have lived here for years, people.

- Always have more connections than Dulles if you in the region. Small but service is fast
- Smaller airport, quick security lines. Not much at terminals but major renovations underway so there are more restaurants coming soon! One of my fav airports.

- Fly out late night or mid-day to avoid crowds. US Airways has a bus/airport shuttle between terminals C and B.

- Joe LeeDiciembre 12, 2013The USO of Metropolitan Washington extends far beyond the airport. If you're military and not from here, grab some information at the USO before you leave.
- It's connected to the Metro and close in to the city. Highly preferred over IAD.
- Nice airport, love that the metro is connected! Lots of choices you eat.
- Not a lot of great food selections but you can grab a drink.
- Take the Metro from DC to the airport and save $10-15. When you get off the Metro, if you need to go to Terminal A, make sure you take the shuttle. Otherwise, it's literally like a half-mile away.
- For a pleasant view of the Washington Monument and Capital Building while at the airport walk outside Door 6 on the ticketing level to the railing of the north terrace/grassy area.
- There is an underground walkway from parking lot A to all terminals!
- One of the most beautiful airports in the country. Excited for the modernization project in progress.
- If you happen to have some time, check out the incredible viewing area outside of Terminal A, in the old building. It's amazing. It's outside of security.
- StarGirl11Marzo 28, 2015Picking up people can be a nightmare since cars tend to park and not move even if their person hasn't come out yet. Expect people to have to come out past the first lane to be picked up.
- Escalator for Metro access by Baggage Claim 10. But pls, if you are a visitor, don't try to wrangle your luggage on Metro during rush hour, AM or PM. Use it during off peak hours.
- Flying United or Delta and not checking bags? Ask to be dropped off at Alaska. You'll be right next to the B pier and it'll save you 5 mins of walking.

- TeamTRI loves the architecture, history, and name of this airport. Having a tasty Pot Belly's is also awesome! Love the wreck!
- Walking through the terminal you will find an old turnstile & a wooden sign that was used as you left the terminal to board the plane. Cost was a a dime. Put a dime in the turnstile & it still works!
- For fast flavorful food and the better beverage choice, choose California Tortilla when you're waiting in the Gate 35-45 area.
- Not as good as the real MCcoy but stop though Ben’s Chili Bowl your mouth will thank you 😊😉😊😉

- Reagan airport has a beautiful mall area with shops and food for last minute gifts before boarding your flight! :)
