I wanted to love this place but the food just misses the mark. The chicken is missing spice, specifically it lacks heat to liven it up and balance the sweetness from the tea brine and citrus powder.
Overrated. The mac & cheese noodles were thick & al dente but the sauce was similar to Cheez Whiz. The chicken and waffle sandwich was decent, green tomato was on point but the chicken was tough.
Not great brunch. Maybe dinner is better. Chicken & waffles are pre-made, get reheated upon ordering. Biscuits are good, but go to Sweet Chick or Pies n Thighs for significantly better fried chicken.
The food looked great. Definitely not fun if you use a wheelchair. If you eat outside you're slanting down into the street. Inside very loud and crowded. The bathrooms aren't wheelchair friendly.
