the little seats near the elevators next to the bar is a nice place to sneak away from the crowds. "elevator alley", i call it.

Nikon USAMarzo 12, 2011The Driskill Hotel is lit up lovely at night. Consider shooting during dusk, and use a tripod to shoot at slower shutter speeds to avoid camera shake and blurry pictures.

Ask for a room in the tower. The rooms in the original hotel are tiny.- driskill during sxsw is a quiet civilized stop to meet friends, have a drink, hold a work conf call, charge ur phone & go to the bathroom.
