- Lisa will talk your ear off, but consider it a good thing. Great bar keep.
- Get the spa suite. Gorgeous except that it is on a low floor (4)
- AnnaNoviembre 23, 2012There's an ATM right behind the elevators on the left in a little secret corner;)
- My favorite hotel in #nyc. Concierge service is great.
- Eva DiazMayo 8, 2013The couches in the main lobby are visibly dirty and torn. Rooms are like a shoe box and our view was of a construction in the alley way. We also paid over 500. So not worth it!!
- Scott WilliamsFebrero 1, 2013If you miss the feeling of living in a dorm, this is the place to visit.
- RobertJunio 26, 20124th floor eastern rooms (by the spa) are within an earshot of an employee service door that slams closed 20+ times in the 6am hour. No sleep.
- Antoine BadotJulio 22, 2016Très central sur Midtown. Mais la chambre est très petite, la vue inexistante et la climatisation ultra bruyante... Dommage
- 2nd Stay here now. Free Wifi for Starwood members. Small rooms but hotel and rooms have a great feel.
- Jason Baughman-OpricăMayo 20, 2018So this was a W hotel, but is now a boutique hotel called the Maxwell. It hasn’t found its niche yet - and is a little mediocre to be an SPG property. A little disappointed.
- Rooms are very small plus the air-con system struggles. Sleeping above the covers is inevitable if you prefer not to have a sweaty sleep.
- The Salup GroupNoviembre 4, 2010Hang out and have drinks after work-- Wed-Fri they have great DJs performing at the Oasis Lounge
- Highly recommend the Sexy Fries!! They're amazing!!
- The water in the tub came out brown, & specks of black stuff seeped from the molding. Nasty.
- Change or DieOctubre 22, 2014@TheRepublik settles in @wnewyork to represent @aigagain #CreativeClass
- John MulqueenEnero 19, 2013Unbelievable. Traveling companion's room not ready 2 and one half hours after check in time!!
- Adam RonichNoviembre 13, 2010Yes the rooms are small. Cabs are hard to get. Good location though and some nostalgia.
- David ReadmanMayo 2, 2013Much better option the W Hotel at Times Square. This is not what I expected
- Make sure to check out a Bliss spa service on the 4th floor
- This is one of those "whateva', whenever-we-feel-like-it" W's, the worst kind. They refused to give my mom a card to get upstairs. Grrr
- ride a fast elevator and find a decent sized room. Not that hard. Order a caipirinha at the bar.
- Stay on the 18th floor if possible - there is usually an elevator waiting which saves a lot of time.
- Ahhhhh..... The comfy beds are a much needed oasis between monster NYC nights.
- Use your starwood card to get a higher floor
- Sam PetersonAgosto 6, 2013Small room. Pay for WiFi. There are better hotels in NYC for much cheaper.
- Marc KravetsMayo 21, 2011Just one warning, parking is $65 a night. Or walk 2 blocks down and park for $20
