- Stay on the 18th floor if possible - there is usually an elevator waiting which saves a lot of time.
- Priceline 4 Star bid in Midtown. I paid $150 plus I got upgraded.
- Adam RonichNoviembre 13, 2010Yes the rooms are small. Cabs are hard to get. Good location though and some nostalgia.
- The water in the tub came out brown, & specks of black stuff seeped from the molding. Nasty.
- This is one of those "whateva', whenever-we-feel-like-it" W's, the worst kind. They refused to give my mom a card to get upstairs. Grrr
- ride a fast elevator and find a decent sized room. Not that hard. Order a caipirinha at the bar.
- This is what welcomes me upon checking into my room. Dirty. Leaking. Disgusting. Day 1 of 6. Wish me luck.
- Sam PetersonAgosto 6, 2013Small room. Pay for WiFi. There are better hotels in NYC for much cheaper.
- Ali NazemJulio 16, 2010The bar downstairs suck cause they won't let you bring in a drink for the W Hotel.
- Avoid room 653. Poorly laid out, there are much better rooms in its class here.
- Trent RickerMayo 13, 2011Not sure if all rooms are this small but my room is far and away the smallest room I've ever stayed in NYC. Disappointing
- Jamie McGonnigalMayo 9, 2012This hotel kinda sucks. Rooms are dark and tiny. Elevators barely or dont work and the staff is downright rude.
- Jason CalacanisAgosto 11, 2009the rooms are small and the elevators are VERY slow. leave extra time for getting in and out.
- Isa AmaroAbril 7, 2012Rude staff and lousy bathroom! Room is small but comfortable. Not coming back...
- RexOctubre 25, 2017Probably the worst W I've stayed at, but the brand has a high bar. The price is very reasonable for NYC, so you get what you pay for.
- RCNoviembre 15, 2017Seems to be going downhill. Not as great as it once was. Front desk staff are not real problem solvers.
