Woo, no more drive to San Mateo! Don't let the look fool you. The inside is nice and clean. Portions are huge so make sure to start off with a few items. And get the half and half soup!
2 bowls, 4 people/2 bowls, 6 people. Anything more or less isn't ideal. You can call to make a reservation for parties of 6 or more.

- Best place for hotpot in the greater downtown area by far. Nothing is quite like the spicy broth. Bring spicy loving friends and get only the spicy broth!
RachelDiciembre 21, 2019Solid and reliable hot pot but the lines to get in are out of control. Joining the waitlist on Yelp doesn’t help much - you can still expect to spend 2 hours or more hanging out in the stairwell.

The quail eggs are canned quail eggs. Not that bad but not as good as dropping a raw one in and getting a poached egg.
Always a line here. If you like spicy food, this is a good place.
