The easy vibe at Vernick make it one of those rare restaurants that can suit so many things: dinner with food-snob friends, cocktails with a gal pal, a meal with the non-adventurous in-laws.
“We started baking baby artichokes in terra-cotta cazuelas, which can sustain very high temperatures. The vegetables melt in their own juices, with white wine, butter, and garlic.” ChefGreg VernickLeer más

Everything was awesome here. Highly recommend the mixto ceviche and the beef tartare. Even the brownie ala mode was amazing. Service was top notch as well. I'll definitely be back.

the parmesancustard was both the weirdest and the most delightful dish I've had in a long time. and ditto to the blueberry pie. also, the bartender (and her sazerac) was a treat.
This Jean Georges Alum's debut restaurant will certainly be the first of many great spots by Chef/Owner Greg Vernick. Sit at the gorgeous bar and enjoy one of Vincent Stipo's amazing cocktails
Chef Greg's menu is a carefully crafted labor of love, aptly conveyed through the inspired cuisine at Vernick. Reserve seats at the chef's counter and watch in awe as the chefs prepare your meal!
Steak tartaretoast is unexpectedly good with shaved parmesan. Thai snapper special entree is worth trying but on the salty side. Uni scramble tastes like it sounds - sea flavor, scrambled egg texture
Ummm... If you haven't been here you're missing out. On life. The kitchen sends out delightful and surprising dishes that sound just as good as they taste. Fu€&!ng delicious
One of Rittenhouse's newest restaurants. Vernick is great if you can get a reservation for dinner - but is also a nice spot for pre-dinner drinks at the bar.

A little over-hyped. Very small menu and not many options if you don't eat meat. The appetizers and small plates are very small and over-priced. Share the seafood/shellfish roast, it's worth the price
