- StayNYC RentalsOctubre 17, 2018Call for a reservation of nearly any size at this NYC icon, where parties gather to sit underneath its tiled arches to enjoy an oyster pan roast and other a la carte seafood dishes.
- micchele tottiDiciembre 5, 2014Everything from Clam chowder to oysters are great here. Service might look a bit rushed from the start but ask a question or two these guys knows what they do.
- Brendan LewisAgosto 7, 2014This place is like a time machine into old-school New York. Keep it going by ordering the Clams Casino and don't forget extra bread to sop up the garlic butter
- Ravi MexicoMayo 8, 2014Still the king of all oyster bars in variety and freshness. But service was a little shady at last happy hour with double charges and overcharges. Will chalk that up to a fluke event.
- MariusAbril 2, 2017What great spot in NYC! Oysters are really fresh, nice selection of local beers as well!
- Ben FortneyMayo 5, 2017It’s one of the only restaurants in NYC, and one of a few in the US, that's owned entirely by its employees via an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP). WORKERS UNITE!
- The tuna burger (only available at the bar or counter before 6pm) is freakin' huge and quite good. But in all honesty, if you want a tuna burger go to Lure. Their tuna burger is better.
- Brisy ZhongMarzo 27, 2016best oysters ever! they change the menu everyday and very small words to read so the easiest way is let the staff recommend something good!
- Meg FarmerEnero 7, 2015Located in a classic nyc landmark. Bras d'or oysters w/roasted garlic asiago butter were good to split, but better off having straight up fresh oysters for a clean taste.
- Mike FriedlichMarzo 31, 2018While the food here is very good the service is terrible. The portion size of appetizers (fried oysters & lobster cocktail) we had was incredibly small. Fried oysters & fried clams were great though.
- Giovanni D'PalmaDiciembre 22, 2017Swung by for a quick lunch, the tuna burger and the ipswitch sandwich were delicious and definitely try a few oysters!
- Steve-OJunio 8, 2013Very yummy. Can't go wrong with the selection of east and west oysters. They really ALL were delicious.
- Zac ZellersMarzo 13, 2015get some raw oysters to start (ask your server to pick some out from the daunting list) before ordering your favorite fish on a dish
- James KiernanJulio 17, 2023A classic, albeit over-priced and a bit of a tourist trap. Great for after work martinis before jumping on the train. Enjoy! 🦪🍸
- FoodspottingDiciembre 11, 2010The Maryland Crab Soup is my favorite lunch option here. There is enough crab in the generously-portioned container of creamy soup to make it lunch for two. - Amy, head of social media at Foodspotting
- KellyMarzo 24, 2017In business over 100 years, and a beautiful historic space. A true NYC institution and must do for seafood lovers.

- Carolina BorbergNoviembre 29, 2014Try the Long Island oysters. I tried them all. I was surprised these were the cheapest and tastier of the all. Might be the freshened.
- JingXun HuNoviembre 4, 2016Solid array of choices, constantly updated on the board as per availability. Service a little snotty but ... Sit at the bar and revel in the experience.
- Rob YatesJunio 22, 2014Pricey, but well worth it as the seafood is really delicious! Try the bar (rather than taking a table) for quick service for lunch.
- Soo Young AhnJunio 13, 2017Bar side is very casual and friendly. Don't bother to drop by for oyster snack!
- Eug KNoviembre 11, 2016Happy hour $1.25 oysters (Very good) and 1/2 price drinks (not quite bad, surprisingly) is what you sometimes need in this city.
- JenKuduSeptiembre 25, 2013I just paid $24 for a piece of broiled fish.... I feel very slighted :( However, I've been told it's all about the oysters (which I did not sample this time). Very cool atmosphere!
- Jack Howard-PotterMayo 30, 2013Walk in and turn right. Sit at the counter in front of the guys shucking the oysters. Order a couple of dozen with an ice tea and enjoy!
- Jon WinterEnero 4, 2013The seafood combination pan roast and lobster roll we shared were both fantastic. They even split them so we could share. Great service, thanks!
