- If you need to mail something before you fly-there are two mailboxes just outside the terminal 1 building, and another one on the northeast wall of the Terminal 1 Hawaiian/International ticket counter
- park'n'fly is only $10 a day! they shuttle you into the airport for free.

- A good part of the airport is under renovation (est. completion around late 2020), so expect most food places to either be gone or replaced.
- Cool airport w/great wifi and comfy! Guard your outlets though they're prime real estate
- (1) TSA-pre now available! (2) Walk-ups may be let in on a lottery basis. Try it!
- There is easier parking at Oakland airport than San Francisco airport. The food is not as good but it is a big Southwest hub.
- Sheila RadazaJunio 17, 2013Monday morning flights are the busiest! Make sure you arrive at the airport 2 hrs before flyt in order not to miss it. TSA lines are looooong!
- Knowing the sequester, the lines may be long. Not SFO long, but make sure you're wearing comfortable pants just in case.
- Over in T1 by Gate 8 is an escape lounge for Amex Platinum card holders - nice!
- Otaez restaurant in terminal 2 has the best deal on food! It was only $6.25 for super nachos that easily feed two people!
- Getting Euro in Terminal 2. You can now walk around with adult beverages in plastic cups, from places like Firewood Grill, opposite gates 23-24.
- there is no more air bart shuttles going to the train station. now for a few years there's a light rail at the airport that goes directly to the bart station

- Head over to Vino Volo for a glass of wine and great food or snack. Cap it off with a little ice cream from Fenton's.
- The BART to airport connector air tram is new and clean still! Good service.
- New Escape Lounge in Terminal One free with Amex Platinum cards has WiFi, food & drinks makes T1 almost worth it.
- Efficient no frills airport. Ideal for Southwest flights without nonstop service to SFO
- When you exit Southwest Airlines and need to get to the BART station, head back towards Alaska airlines. That is where the walkway to the BART train is at
- Pick up a magazine at HMS and ask for their Magazine card. Buy 6 magazines and get the next one free. If you're a frequent flyer, this is an awesome deal!
- Our favorite airport to fly into when traveling to the Bay Area on Southwest. Much more mellow than SFO
- Easy in and out, and a quick BART ride to SF. Much easier than flying into SFO.
- Andale restaurant near gate 28 now has Peet's nitro cold brew coffee on tap.
- Thrown your water away at TSA? Yeaikno how you feel. No worries tho! Because there are water dispensers right by the restrooms 😊

- You CAN buy AIRBart tickets at a kiosk right in front of the bus in case you only have platic (which tends to be the case with me)!
- Gets busier every year... Come at least 1.5 hours ahead of time
