Kristin HillJunio 6, 2012Must take trains to C/D/N gates and B/S gates AFTER security. Give yourself plenty of time!
When you come out of customs walk right past the baggage people and onto the train. Saves a lot of time.
if you are here everyweek like I am, you can rent a parking space on Tue 4th floor for less than the aggregate of your parking by day. Easy in and out.
Park in cell phone lot until flight lands. The park in direct access parking for easy in and put.

The Wi-Fi is free, the restaurants are actually quite good (if you have the time) and security is a breeze if you're prepared.

United's mobile phone boarding pass may just make up for all the annoying upgrade attempts. Quick and easy for bag checks and security!
Not the most exciting airport but functional. Plenty of Starbucks available. Sign up to CLEAR if you wish to proceed through customs quickly.
Anthony's is the best! Get the clam chowder.!

Take your time to get to the gates.. some needs extra time
TSA Checkpoint 1 is for Pre-Check and has Clear, so it’s the fastest usually

Dan LurieEnero 10, 2012I've had to transfer trains more times just to get to my gate at SEA than I would to get from anywhere to anywhere in NYC.
United Airline's mobile boarding pass doesn't work well here. Be sure to get a printed pass at the check-in counter before going to the security gates.
SSEnero 18, 2012This place is all about escalators. Check in upstairs, security downstairs, tram more downstairs, flights upstairs!
If your goal is to find a plane leaving Seattle, this is the place to go...they have TONS of them!
7 AM, Thursday mornings give extra time to go thru security. Lines are extremely long

You have to take stairs part of the way up to the C gates from the tram.
You don't have to take your shoes or jacket off if you have status. Almost like the old days.

Nice airport, but TSA Pre Check must be expanded, only one security line.
Food options not great, but I do love that they have a children’s play area in the central terminal.
Free wifi, tsa is always quick, decent food at the airport.

Glenna LinSeptiembre 14, 2012Get to the airport at least an hour early for check-in and security (domestic flight). Takes a while.- Allow plenty of time if your flight is around 10 pm. Half the checkpoints are closed and the others are busy
You need to take initiative when waiting in line for TSA. It's a zoo and no one pays attention to who is next. Just go!
During peak hours if you are dropping off someone avoid the line and drop them off at arrivals. The opposite holds true for picking them up.
Bring an empty water bottle. Love their fillers.
Fill your water bottle at the water bottle filling station in the main food court.

Ulysses .Agosto 15, 2021WTF SeaTac closing 4 out of 5 men’s bathrooms for maintenance right when flights come in at midnight.- If you are picking up and need to circle more than once, you're better off going to the cell phone lot. It is close and has free Wi-Fi
At peak times, use N hate security. And there are extra lines around the corner after ID check!
