Airport is extremly overloaded. All the time. Queues are everywhere included toilets. You should be very patience
Arrivals: UK border checks take forever and it is always packed. Add at least 30 mins to your journey to take this into account.

You would think management would deal with this passenger experience!- If the queues at security are are scarily long, there's a queue-jumping fasttrack option which costs £5.

Although a certain airline doesn't make it very clear, check "which" Düsseldorf you're flying to. Air Berlin does the main one. The other airline doesn't and also flys at -+ the same time! Careful!!

Debbie PintoJunio 1, 2013I have never seen such a mess. It took me 40 min to go to the security because the queues are so badly organised. If you have a chance to choose another place to your outbound flight, do it!
DON'T fly into Stansted on a late Sunday flight. The customs queue is guaranteed to be longer than your European flight (esp if you're non-Eu/UK)
