If your flight departs from Gates E (eg. E59) then go the gates immediately! There are cafes here, but it’s a long walk, passport control, several escalators and a rail transit service!
Flughafen ist zwar modern und schön aber einmal in der Gate nähe ist tote Hose. Beschränkte Auswahl an Restaurant und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten! Sehr schade für die Betreiber, damit entgeht sehr viel Geld
9/10 A huge airport where you can find many duty free shops. Well, zurich is a very very expensivecity, but it is really very beautiful! Inside the port there is a info kiosk for the visitors to ask
Since Switzerland is not an EU country (although it is in Schengen area), you have to finish your tax-free process and get official stamp on your invoice at the country of purchase!
One of most organizedairports I know. A cow's moo, horns and bells on the inter-terminal train puts you right in the Swiss spirit. And if you're a chocoholic, Sprungli's shop is a must-stop.
I suggest travelers arrive well ahead of their flights for this airport. It is rather massive in scale: in my case, I arrived via train, and spent some 40mins reaching Terminal E (Turkish Airlines).
Herşey düşünülmüş. O kadar ağırlık ile tek başına bu kadar rahat hareket edebilmek güzeldi. Çalışanlar özellikle güvenlik görevlileri çok yardımcı ve pozitif.
If you like chocolate you must visit the lindt store on the second floor: they even produce handmade fresh chocolate and have lindt ice cream which I don't think I've seen anywhere else in the world!
Welcome to Zurich! With 400.000 people it is Switzerlands biggest city. Since 2012, Zurich is regarded as the most expensivecity in the world. Find out more with the LH Travel Guide! Leer más
Family service area in Terminal E was a life saver for us and our 3 year old and 1 year old. Very friendly staff and great place for the kids to play and for adults to relax while watching their kids.
Such a lovely airport. Very tidy, super clean, great shopping opportunities - and make sure to take the train that takes you to the other terminals: It's a must see!
Nice airport. I hate their lounges for lack of space, but other than that it's great. I mean food court, shops, everything that helps to get distracted from flying is awesome.
The Airport completed a major expansion project in 2003, in which it built a new parkinggarage, a new midfield terminal, and an underground people mover to the midfield terminal to the main terminal.
Buy something inexpensive & use your 20% off coupon for a larger purchase. Airport is clean & crisp, very Swiss. Several lounges for Priority Pass members. Easy to navigate. Food is good but pricey.
Best airport lots of place for charging your mobile.Helpful staff. If you flight with Swiss you got best service. I missed my flight and they booked for me other flight give me voucher for food 20 CHF
What I like about it: toilet doors open automatically. 2016 year and still this useful feature is a rare thing. PS have a meal at Marche - fresh and tasty
The first flight abroad from Switzerland landed in 1921. In the early years of aviation, the Dübendorf Air Base, located some 8 km (5.0 mi) to the south-east of Zurich Airport.
Achtung NEU! Wer jemand mit dem Auto an den Airport bringt und zum Abflug fährt, zahlt jetzt und zwar nicht wenig. Fünf Minuten Zeit zum gratis Abschied nehmen ab dann 1.- Fr. pro Minute.
Welcome back, always nice to see the crazy swiss people when you arrive, if you come from overseas, make sure you enjoy this moment everytime you land!
All non-Schengen departures (US, Africa, Middle East, etc.) leave from terminal E, accessible by a 3 min. train ride. What a stellar airport. So quiet and clean. ❤🇨🇭
If waiting for a flight from "D" gates, go through the terminal building and then take an escalator to the first floor. Nice views of aircrafts taxiing around and departing from RWY16!
If you are not willing to pay over 4 CHF for a bottle of water: go to "Kiosk" and buy one for 2 CHF. Or get a free glass of water at "Amavita" pharmacy (Gate B)
Everything is closed on sundays, so airport or train station it is. At the airport though, you get the food court, starbucks, shopping and a deck to look out at the planes. Awesome.
ZRH is a big airport, as others in Europe. So, some tips to help you: 1) Banks are in Check-in 1 area (UBS) and 2 Credit Suisse; 2) Customs is in Check-in 1 area, near of UBS;
Getting stuck for a night in Zurich is highly recommended. Gorgeous city, great free hotel room provided by the airline, overall the best cancelled flight location you can ask for.
A nice airport, well connected with the city. Don't forget the Observation Deck, a perfect place to relax taking Picts of planes departing and arriving.
Nice airport, really modern and well connected! Happy about the sport bar at terminal E, close do duty free. Only bad thing is that u have only 1 hr of free WiFi.
When connecting to the US from Europe, don't forget there's a second passport control line right before the gates. It pays to join the line with two economy agents ;-)
