Excellent airport. Big and modern. It has a nice structure and design. Very good food court and shoping center.
Switzerland's federal parliament decided in 1945 that Zürich was to be the site of a major airport, and sold 655 hectares (1,620 acres) of the Kloten-Bülach Artillery Garrison.
If you're in transit in the morning from overseas to Europe, it may be worthwhile going out and coming back in. By going landside, you have to reenter via security but immigration is much faster!

Best airport ever. Free wifi, and a well equipped family room full of toys and games.
Fantastic airport with very good public transportation connections to the city.
Careful when using E gate, bordercontrol is a bottleneck by design (architecture & lack of technology) plan enough time for that

Take a lunch or dinner at the world oldest vegetarian restaurant Hiltl. At Zurich downtown. Amazing good food.

Really difficult to understand how this can be considered one of the best airports: unpolite and unfriendly people telling they don t understand you. must go to Singapore for a training

Uber picks up from upper level Departure 2, not arrivalConfusing signs above doors leading outside - they identify what you can find there not the name of the door (how most USA airports work)

Oliver MaagAgosto 27, 2014Everything is closed on sundays, so airport or train station it is. At the airport though, you get the food court, starbucks, shopping and a deck to look out at the planes. Awesome.
