David Chang's awesome, new Korean leaning Italian restaurant. Feels like Ssam Bar in ambition, quality, and price. Get all the pastas: Cace e Pepe, Chicken & Dumplings (soup), and Clams Grand Lisboa.
Super tasty, creative dishes that don't really compliment one another at all. The menu is all over the place but the Impossible Burger, butter noodle, and raw beef stand out. Fun foodie experience.
Nishi’s pistachio cake comes from executive chef Joshua Pinksy’s mother. The super nutty, moist slice is served with a quenelle of thickened ricotta that is texturally similar to a scoop of ice cream. Leer más
a nice addition to the momofuku club! great butter noodles (chickpea cacio e pepe); my friend had the shrimp scampi and loved it. They also took our drinks off the bill for no reason as a thank you!🙀
At this new Chelsea restaurant, David Chang and the Momofuku team are serving a mix of Korean and Italian cuisines, and the menu also has dishes influenced by Cantonese barbecue. Leer más
lively, hip place. Arctic char is impeccable. ceci e pepe was so good. mackerel tataki and papaya salad are so refreshing. great service and wonderful food. lovely new addition to the momofuku group
Lives up to David Chang's reputation. The dishes are inventive and flavorful. The pastas in particular are not to be missed- we enjoyed the Ceci e Pepe, Clams Grand Lisboa, and Spicy Beef Sichuan.
We had the large format dinner Lobster chow mein. The lobster was butter, the shrimp were perfect, even the salad was tasty. Make a res for this meal with a couple of friends. Guaranteed good time.
Great dinner overall. You must try a dish from each section of the menu, app: scallops, pasta: jajangmyeon, dish: branzino. Place is definitely chill so perfect for a week night rendezvous
I’ve never had anything like this before! I was expecting cheesy classic Italian but I was impressed and surprised by the unique flavors I experienced! Sweet and amazing. Order the ravioli
Lives up to all the fuss. Ikura bowl with fried corn kernels was delightful. The cacio is truly stellar but the toasted noodles are the surprise scene stealer for me!
best cacio e pepe I've ever had. everything was delicious: oysters, scallops, gem lettuce. but the ceci e pepe was really next level with a hint of sweetness
Found the flavors amazing. Ceci e pepi is literally ridiculous tastes like autumn had sexual relations with your mouth. Scallops, mackerel, romaine (also cray flavors), carpaccio also fkn excellent.
Bright red beef crudo with radish and dashi, or spicy chitarra noodles with XO sauce, fermented chile, and fresh and preserved squid—truly leave you in a state of disoriented pleasure. Leer más
Asian Italian menu is a bit hit or miss. Hits: ceci e Pepe, beef Sichuan pasta, decent: chicken dumplings, mackerel (pictured), beef crudo pass: romaine salad
Go for the Dagwood. It's a multilayered creation with: country pork pâté; cured mackerel; roasted chicken; plus hozon remoulade, dijonaise, Ssäm Sauce special sauce; lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles.
Hokkaido Uni is awesome, the pasta dishes are ok, nothing spectacular.... the place is super small, make sure to book a table. Excellent attendance. Reasonable prices.
For a reformed vegetarian missing some of his favorite taboo meals, like say a good burger, Nishi's impossible one does the trick admirably. Ssäm sauce is a nice mistress; ketchup still has my heart.
Insanely good pasta! The tasting was amazing. 500ml negroni is said to have enough for four pours but seemed to provide us with a little more than that. Great service and a nice, albeit small, space.
Impossible Burger is definitely worth getting, and I would order it again. But its difficult to articulate my feelings towards it. The best I came up with was two words: 'uncanny valley' - look it up.
the ceci e pepe is made with chickpea paste instead of cheese and it's quite good. the romaine and walnut bagna cauda was the other dish i liked -- deceptively simple but really interesting flavors.
The Pok Pok x Nishi Fried Chicken Group Dinner serves 4-8 people and offers two styles of chicken (Thai and Szechuan influenced) with a bunch of sides. Book a res on their site.
for dinner, to start: fried whole shrimp, toasted noodle with clams; then, ceci e pepe, bbq pork ribs. bonji old fashion on the side. skip the desserts.
Momofuku, a name you all know, is adding a new restaurant to the pack. This Italian-inspired Korean fusion spot will not be using any Italian ingredients. We're intrigued... Leer más
Great service, but a bit expensive for the quality & quantity of food. Portions are a bit on the small side. I’d recommend at least 2 starters + 1 entree per hungry person, if not 2 entrees.
Came just for the Impossible Burger, a plant-based burger meant to look, feel, and taste like meat. It doesn't quite pass, but it's definitely the most convincing fake burger I've had! Worth a try.
