I actually prefer this hotel to most in Grand Canyon Village. The staff is much nicer and professional.
Oddly super uncomfortable beds for a hotel of this quality / brand name. At least the views are great.
Some okay areas for events and parties that can use the on site restaurant for catering. The inside spaces are very outdated though.
The 661 german beer is pretty nice. Also, the beer battered onion rings with the blue cheese dipping sauce.
See's lollipops remind me so much of childhood. The fall caramel apple flavor is addictive.
The cheese plate comes in two sizzles, small (3) and large (5 cheeses). Served with homemade fig and strawberry jam, walnut bread, English muffins and grapes.
The spa's amenities is what makes it so nice (found the actual massage to be just ok and similar to the much cheaper version near me). Try dipping in the cold shock pool and switching to the hot tub.
It is always about the view here, not the food or drinks. The cocktails are average at best (and $15 each), but the sunset cannot be beat.
Do not pass on the warm soft pretzel with smoked cheddar dipping sauce. So good.

The 3 course prix fixe meal is a pretty decent option for $55. I picked the ricotta gnocchi with macadamia nuts and foam for my entree and a dessert called Summertime with 2 sorbets and melon.
They film a lot of tv promos (like Americas Got Talent) and have random vendor events (like Nike Run Club) here.
Toasted garlic bagel with scallion cream cheese and a side fruit salad is a pretty nice breakfast.
Buy a little vine to take home and plant (and in my case, probably kill off quickly...). Such a fun gift idea though.
Fellow vegetarians / vegans: the chef will make you an off-menu dish that suits your tastes. Mine included carrots, summer squash, mushrooms over lentils and farro with a spicy eggplant sauce.
Art Deco inspired wine bar and knowledgable wine shop. Glasses of wine are expensive ($12-23 each glass) but good regional variety and varietals.
