As a place to stay, it’s great. Villas are pretty private, have fireplaces and vineyard views and nice tubs. As a tasting room, I’d skip. Overly crowded and depersonalized.
Tipping is cash or check (?!) only, which is super old fashioned and inconvenient. There is an ATM on premise, but still inconvenient.
Best vegetarian sandwich: #25, The Joy Ride on Dutch crunch bread. Red pepper hummus, jalapeño artichoke spread and a bunch of veggies.
Pretty tasty boozy French toast. The banana kahlua French toast with brioche toast is not a bad option. Pair with a brunch cocktail.
Surprisingly great cocktails. The mojito has that nice crunchy raw sugar at the bottom and so much fresh mint.
The cheese plate comes with some huge chunks of cheese and a bunch of sides like green apples, honey, chocolate and crackers. Wish more beer places has this.
Food is pretty good, though impossible parking and such a long line to order. Add halloumi cheese to the rice bowl if you really like cheese.
Menu Volume 13 recommendation: Faith of Italy which has lemongrass, multiple rums and gin. Lemongrass should be in more tiki cocktails.
The brioche fresh toast is so thick and pillowy. Topped with fresh berries.
Cute two screen indie theater, showing harder to find movies. The one downside is that sometimes you hear the other theater if your movie is at a quiet point and there’s loud noise in the other one
What a weird arm workout ride! Just keep shooting as much as possible for the high score.
Vegetarians: recommend going with the small plate options and skipping the one vegetarian main course which is just an expensive ($35) plate of vegetables. It’s ok, but the small plates are excellent.
This doctor office has a large room with Pilates reformers. Good mix of people come to class, male and female, young and older.
The rosemary focaccia bread (sfincione) is hands down the best thing on the entire menu.
The Gems and Minerals exhibit has been a favorite of mine since childhood.
The pizza is really good. Fresh ingredients and good crust. Pretty big for one person though.
The pancake flight option is great if you want options. I got the bourbon pancake, the pineapple upside pancake and the blueberry strudel pancake (my fav).
