Damn hot chicken - as advertised. Very hot but edible. Chicken is so good that merely "hot" might be the better route, letting the flavor come through more. Mac and cheese was great. Fries were good.
Catch a sunset or sunrise. You can drive to the top and hike down a bit to catch the beautiful views of the park. Plenty of parking on top. Really a gem.
The most farm-to-table you can get without dining in a hen house. Head upstairs to the tavern-like walk-in area for $1 oysters, tapas, and the entire reservations only menu.
There is no better pie in Maine. They use fresh Maine blueberries in their pies, pancakes, and muffins. Ask for the muffin griddle-warmed.

Take a sunrise tour of Casco Bay and you're guaranteed to be first in line for donuts. Maple bacon was my fav.
